It's almost time to end our First Ever Creepy Orphan Society Challenge. For our First Challenge, we decided on:
MORBID CURIOSITIES
Here are some of the Members Finished Pieces:
This is my first Creepy Orphan EVER!! This is Polly Waugg, the Frog Faced Girl.
She is sculpted from Polymer Clay and stands approx. 18 inches. She has a cloth body and will include real ruby earrings and a gold pendant.
MARZEL 2010
Donna-So Dark So Cute
Finished! Meet the limbless Albino girl.
She's sitting in a wooden chair in a box with velvet fabric.
Mallory and Mainerd....parasitic twins...

Here is Odd Dolls, Pattee's Creepy Orphan. I absolutely love this little guy.
Meet "Henray Lost." He is a Creepy Orphan waiting for Adoption. However, they keep him locked in his room at the Orphanage because he lost his foot and they hung it on the ceiling so he couldn't get out.
The poor thing...what is a Creepy Orphan to do?
Stay Tuned For More Morbid Curiosities Pieces From Our Members. Our Challenge runs from September/October 31, 2010.

ReplyDeleteI love all the dolls that were made for this challenge!
I'll send you the photo of my creepy orphan but I think she might be too creepy even for me and I like creepy! Or poor Lucy she's a orphan....
Send her to me Pattee and I'll add her to the post. You can add her too, you are an author of this blog, but if you would like me to do it, send her over. I can't wait to see her. I know she is going to be an awesome Orphan.

ReplyDeleteGreat job to everyone who participated so far. It was actually wonderful seeing all this in one place... I really like the blog idea. I think that while the changes to google groups is a pain it turned out into a blessings. I LOVE THIS!!
ReplyDeleteLoved everyone's work! Every little orphan is so unique and so creepy! Didn't stay long enough the other day to chit-chat with you all so I wanted to drop by this morning and get a better look at all of the Creepy Orphans that are finished and ready for adoption, now if only there was someone out there...oh well, Poor Henry, he'll never grow tall enough to rescue his poor little foot! At least he's got a roof over his head..it's a creepy roof..but hey it will keep him safe? and dry!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend! I am working on my project now so hopefully I can finish up this weekend and post all about it on Monday!! Also getting the yarn ready to put on my blog site!!
